Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Sleek Web Designs, we value transparency and strive to provide exceptional service to every client. Because many of our services involve customized work, strategy, and time-based deliverables, this policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.

By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms outlined below.

Website Design Projects

Website design projects require significant planning, research, design, and development.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable and reserve your project in our production schedule.

Deposits cover:

  • Project planning
  • Discovery sessions
  • Research
  • Design preparation
  • Initial development work

Project Cancellation

If you decide to cancel your project after work has begun:

  • Payments already made are non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Any remaining unpaid balance for completed work may become immediately due.

If the project has not yet started, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial refund after deducting administrative and planning costs. Because web design work is highly customized, deposits and work already performed are treated as non-refundable.

SEO Services

SEO requires ongoing optimization and cannot guarantee rankings or specific business outcomes.

Monthly SEO services may be cancelled by providing 30 days' written notice before your next billing cycle. Cancellation will stop future billing after the notice period. Payments already processed are not refundable.

This includes:

  • Local SEO
  • Technical SEO
  • AI Visibility services
  • Content optimization
  • Link-building campaigns
  • SEO consulting

SEO work performed before cancellation remains billable because it consists of time, expertise, and completed deliverables.

AI Visibility Services

AI Visibility campaigns involve:

  • Technical optimization
  • Structured data implementation
  • Content development
  • Authority-building initiatives
  • Ongoing monitoring

Because these services begin immediately after onboarding, payments for completed work are generally non-refundable. Clients may cancel future monthly services with the required written notice.

Website Maintenance Plans

Maintenance plans renew on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date to prevent future charges. Once a maintenance period has started, refunds are not issued for that billing cycle because monitoring, backups, updates, and support resources are allocated in advance.

Digital Marketing Services

Monthly marketing services, including SEO, content marketing, and consulting, renew automatically unless otherwise stated in your service agreement. To avoid renewal charges, written cancellation requests must be submitted before your next billing cycle.

Client Delays

Projects depend on timely communication and content from the client. If required materials, approvals, or feedback are delayed for more than 30 consecutive days, your project may be placed on hold. Projects inactive for 90 days or longer may require a restart fee or a revised project timeline before work resumes.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only under limited circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate payments
  • Billing errors
  • Services that have not yet begun

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Project deposits
  • Completed design work
  • Development work already performed
  • Monthly SEO services already delivered
  • AI Visibility services already delivered
  • Website maintenance for active billing periods
  • Third-party software, plugins, themes, domains, hosting, or licensing fees
  • Consulting sessions already completed

Third-Party Services

Some projects require third-party services, including:

  • Domain registration
  • Website hosting
  • Premium plugins
  • Stock photography
  • Fonts
  • Software licenses
  • Email platforms

These purchases are governed by the third-party provider's own policies and are typically non-refundable.

Chargebacks

If you believe there is a billing error, please contact us first so we can work toward a resolution. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue may result in suspension of ongoing services while the matter is reviewed.

Project Ownership

Upon full payment of your project, ownership of the completed website design and custom content created specifically for your project transfers to you, unless otherwise stated in your service agreement. Any proprietary tools, templates, processes, or licensed assets used during development remain the property of their respective owners.

Policy Updates

Sleek Web Designs reserves the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on our website.
